Liberty and Equality FTW!

In case you haven't already guessed, I am quite pleased with the outcome of yesterday's election. Obama keeps the White House, a record number of women take the senate (binders not included), new states join the gay marriage club, and two states keep doing what they've always done... it's just legal now.

Now, I understand that a lot of people are upset with some or most of the results. But what we have to remember as a country is that we voted. The majority of us voted these men and women into political office, and now we have to make the best of it. Even if you don't agree with everything a particular politician says, please realize that it's much better to take baby steps forward than giant leaps back.

  1. Couldn't agree more. We have to get stuff DONE, not complain that things didn't go such and such way in the elections.
